So... simply this:

I am a PHP and C++ dude, but not Python :) Anyone can tell me how this is fix-able or...can fix it?

Please read our FAQ entry for the issue, you have probably downloaded too much content and Youtube is blocking your IP.

You shouldn't run youtube-dl as the root user, it's only needed for updating.

@jaime: Sorry, I was just lazy there. :) Wanted to quickly grab a video while I was on 3G so i could scp it down to my localhost later in the day. But oh well, didn’t work.
