This looks like a problem in ffmpeg, livestreamer with mpv plays it fine but mpv on itself (which uses ffmpeg) only plays the audio.
You can use --hls-prefer-native, but I can't seek with mpv.

Really? Even when I tried with livestreamer I was getting an audio-only file.

I'm trying your --hls-prefer-native suggestion now, and it seems to work.

I'll post again in a few hours when I'm able to confirm if it's alright.

mpv plays it fine (except for seeking) but VLC it only plays the audio.

Yeah, you're right... I wonder why that is?
More importantly, I wonder how I would go about turning this file into one that works in other players as well.
