problem with Russian characters in filename (-t and restrict-filenames) on Mountain Lion #687

I use youtube-dl on Mountain Lion (OS X) via MacPorts

it worked earlier

Russian Youtube title is not in file name

Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too 😉 - if you pass in --restrict-filenames, you'll get only a very limited set of characters in your filename. Simply remove --restrict-filenames and you'll get Балаклея. Кафе Ссак' Вояж. 20130202-HTCRbtzUM_w.mp4.

I'm closing this issue for now, but feel free to comment if that doesn't solve your problem.

Ooops. That means the same topic like my last bug report. Only one comment: the old behavior which replaces space with underscore was much better :-)

I will have a look at cclive, maybe they are more traditional guys.
