Failure in downloading a YouTube video with Ubuntu's repository latest version #7931

Hi , Did you update youtube-dl ? try this . youtube -U . may need sudo |

I had originally installed youtube-dl from the Ubuntu repositories, and came to realize that it's sorely outdated - version, from what I can tell, is from June(?). Just installed directly from yt-dl.org and it worked quite nicely. |

Just trying downloading a YouTube video and it wouldn't download at all. Please find below the --verbose output.
