Other youtube videos download just fine. If there's any other info I need to provide please tell me, I'll try my best.

You're using an out-dated version (2015.11.24). Please update to the latest version (2016.01.01) via update instructions.

Dang, arch linux is usually pretty good at keeping packages up to date. That worked, thanks for the help, sorry for the bother.
