Subtitles on AdultSwim videos (The Venture Brothers ...)

I've tried to understand how the subtitles for a couple of The Venture Brothers videos I've downloaded can be extracted. The one I just tried was "The Venture Bros. - The Venture Bros. Special Epilogue" from the AdultSwim website seems to have same kind of subtitles as the "The Venture Bros. - All This and Gargantua-2" which was downloaded in 4 parts. The subtitles seem to display OK on the AdultSwim video player, but I haven't gotten that to work for a little while.
I don't really know what kind of information would be helpful to provide here, but the output from "MP4Box -info" output for the flv that was retrieved is the following:

Attempting to extract the srt (using MP4Box, but other utilities get similar results) yields lines like:

I've done 10s of hours of research into turning these into readable subtitles with no luck and using various utilities to extract them. It may just mean I suck at research, I don't know. I've also tried to see if a separate subtitle file can be found in the html stream like with CBS videos, but no luck there either.
