You are using an out-dated version. The latest version is 2016.02.22. See this FAQ entry if you have problems on updating.

I did a fresh install in Brew, and an upgrade as well and it's getting 2015.11.19. Do you not support brew anymore?

Apparently you did not. youtube-dl is up to date in homebrew.
