there is a way to send in advance request with several itag and swich them durong download?
is this tool support multi request?

You can use the --format option to send requests for different itags. You can of course kill youtube-dl at any time and start another download. I'm not sure what you mean by switch them during download. Could you elaborate?

i would like to change resolution during download | equivalent to change resolution when watching via youtube player and change the resolution.

one more thing.....regarding to my issue #970 about download byte ranges....is the last version suppotr this issue?

As a command-line application, you can only communicate with youtube-dl with signals. Simply kill it and restart it with another format.

Please discuss issue #970 in, well, issue #970. Otherwise, this bugtracker becomes hard to read. In general, until an issue is marked as closed, it has not been solved.
