yeah thanks for this @Kocal, actually I've made a mistake by merging #960 and should have released a major of Foundry instead...

now that we have Foundry 2 versions in the wild that pretend to support SF 8, I need to handle this (the proxy stuff in Foundry needs SF 7 and is incompatible with SF 8) - I'm actually expecting some issues where users complain that Foundry made their CI fail with SF 8 🤷

I've opened #1022 few weeks and I was waiting for doctrine and maker to release a version which suports SF 8. I'll work on this other PR

BTW there is currently no released version of the ORM which supports SF 8

not your fault, I should have anticipated it

nevermind, that's not THAT bad 😅 In order to use SF 8, ppl have to get rid of "proxy" factories any way. It will be the hard way now 😅
