Current setup: Ubuntu 18.04.1, running Zentyal 6.0-pre

I've got a separate VM for database purposes going on the system I run Zentyal on. It'd be nice to be able to use the Redis on it, and to move MySQL over to it (and or convert to using PostgreSQL).

  • /usr/share/zentyal contains the scripts relevant for this.
  • /etc/zentyal/core.conf appears to determine the port number for the local Redis. This would be a good place to add a definition for the Redis server + database # + password; as well as the MySQL connection info.

@unquietwiki unquietwiki changed the title from Feature Request: be able to select remote MySQL and Redis servers to Feature Request: be able to select remote database servers Sep 28, 2018
