As a developer I would like Espressif's open-source toolchains supported in Zephyr so that they can be used to develop on ESP32 chips.

Zephyr is already buildable with the Espressif toolchain. It still doesn't boot, and we're investigating this.

Zephyr builds and boots when using the Espressif toolchain. I'm working on cleaning up the patches in order to have a basic port.

This toolchain is now supported in zephyr as we are able to run samles program using espressif toolchain.
