Black Han Sans

ZESSTYPE is a type designer based in Seoul, South Korea.

The story of ZESSTYPE began in 2015 with our first Korean Hangul typeface, 1st Black. Since developing that first font, ZESSTYPE has also published a second typeface called ZBLACK Original with support from the Korean crowdfunding platform Tumblbug.

Black Han Sans is a new Korean Hangul typeface based on ZBLACK Original. With adjustments to the spacing between letters, this typeface has more structurally unified heights and widths. It has also been improved for greater legibility and usability.

Black Han Sans has been designed to emphasize square shapes as a font for headlines and titles. It includes 2,580 Korean characters, numbers and punctuation marks. Latin alphabet characters and other symbols are not provided.

Progress on this font will continue via Github so that the project will constantly evolve in various ways.

ZESSTYPE은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 독립디자이너로 주로 타입디자인 작업을 진행하고 있습니다.

2015년도 처음 제작했던 1st Black 한글 서체를 시작으로 이를 개선한 ZBLACK Original 한글 서체를 텀블벅 크라우드펀딩을 통해 공개하였고 이 검은고딕 프로젝트는 ZBLACK 한글 서체를 기반으로 글자의 폭을 조절하고 가독성과 사용성을 높인 한글 서체입니다.

검은고딕은 네모꼴을 가득채워 디자인한 한글 서체입니다. 제목용 서체로 제작되었으며 한글 2580자와 숫자 그리고 문장부호로 구성되어 있으며 영문 대소문자와 기타 약물은 포함되어 있지 않습니다.

추후 Github를 통하여 지속적으로 개선할 계획입니다.

검은고딕 라틴 업데이트

많은 사용자 분들의 피드백에 감사드리며, 오랜 시간 사용자를 곤란하게 했던 몋-몇 오탈자를 수정했습니다.

이번 업데이트를 통해 기존 한글 2580자에서 국제표준규격인 Adobe-KR-9에 맞춰 한글 2780자로 추가 구성했고, 라틴 알파벳을 추가하며 이에 맞춰 숫자도 수정했습니다.
