Github Feed ============ Github Feed is a github services post-receive hook that generates RSS feeds for commits you make to a Github repository. GH Feed was built with Sinatra and MongoDB and is currently hosted on Heroku. To use Github Feed for one of your repositories, add http://ghfeed.heroku.com as a post-receive url in the repository's admin console. Any commits you then push to your repository with "@rss" in the commit message will be stored in the database. If you navigate to http://ghfeed.heroku.com/username/repo, you will find an RSS feed of your "@rss" tagged commits. To deploy Github Feed on your own servers, you will have to modify the settings.yml file with your server's configuration. Also, you will have to set the MONGO_PASSWORD environmental variable. If you are on a server with physical or ssh access, run the command "export MONGO_PASSWORD=password" on the terminal. If you are deploying to Heroku, type "heroku config:add MONGO_PASSWORD=password".
