Background

1. About The Project
   • Project is intended to be a tutorial example of how to scrape a web page using Rvest and Rmarkdown
   • This project was developed in Rstudio using Rmarkdown.
   • Web page being scraped
2. Objectives
   • I have become a big fan of XPATH for web scraping, which is used in this example.
   • It provides a good example of the kind of problems faced while web scraping OCRed web pages.
   • I am interested in all things WW2 and the UKs Mediterranean campaign is almost unknown to me.
