# Unlockables

Everything your pet can earn that isn't a species or a stat: the **habitats** it lives
in, the **titles** you carry, and the **trinkets** you decorate with. All of it is
cosmetic — unlockables celebrate how you play, they never change power.

Together they make up the **completionist North Star**: 100% completion is the Dex plus
**achievements**, **habitats**, and **trinkets**, and the completion meter weights them
**40 / 40 / 10 / 10** (Dex and achievements carry the most, habitats and trinkets round
it out). Nothing here is ever permanently missable.

## Habitats

A **habitat** is the scene your pet lives in — its backdrop, palette, and a set of
**trinket slots** to decorate. You start with the **Terminal Den** and earn the rest
through [achievements](achievements.md). Switch between any you've unlocked from the **Loot** page (key `3` in the shell).

Fifteen in all: a homely Terminal Den, four earthly scenes, a climb through the
solar system as your lineage deepens, and three prestige scenes for the most dedicated tamers.

## Titles

A **title** is an honorific your achievements grant you — a quiet badge of what your
tamer has done. Eighteen exist:
