Upgrade gem on rubygems

Current zookeeper 0.4.4 rubygems does not compile under debian > squeeze.

Github one does works altought its pretty hard to install it, didn't foud any gemspec file.

I wonder if I'm in the right place to ask this but please upgrade zookeeper gem on rubygems thank you.

you can try slyphon-zookeeper in the meantime. I've been maintaining that fork with the intention of merging my changes back here, but haven't had the time.

Well, yeah, i've been maintaining a separate fork that has eventmachine support and a number of bug fixes. I've been meaning to merge it back into twitter, but i've always been somewhat hesitant.
