This could potentially eliminate all honest user's banning.

Btw it's more complicated, because that would let them avoid banning altogether by spending outputs so tx chains must be examined.

In any case, spending UTXO's is not free, so it at least will cost something for the attacker.

Not sure how backend is built, but I guess it could monitor all banned UTXO's and, upon spending, automatically ban all UTXO's going out from that transaction, for some number of hops (for example, 5) or time (24h?).

@kristapsk That is exactly how the backend is built, so in theory it should be easy. However it must be thinked through what kind of DoS protection relaxations we implement for obvious reasons. I think it'll be fine though.

The backend is build with slight variations from the original ZeroLink theory: https://github.com/nopara73/ZeroLink/#d-dos-attack

I just checked, there was almost 1000 utxo banned. This issue just became way more important.

For the record, there were no 1000 utxo banned, it's just I accidentally the file list during unbanning. Anyway, this issue has been implemented.
