General Description

After updating to latest version of Mac OS Mojave v10.14.2 (18C54), the wallet screen never loads--just get empty/black GUI window (screenshot attached). I was successfully and actively running the latest version of wasabi from tar download prior to this issue.

To try to fix it, I installed the full dotnet SDK, and wasabi from git, which installed previous version, and the wallet screen opened, but it wouldn't load, eventually closed/crashed dotnet, and I noticed the "updated version" message. Updated to latest version in terminal/git, and again got empty GUI. This entire exercise should be evident in attached file, "Terminal Saved Output.txt".

Terminal Saved Output.txt

How To Reproduce?

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

@webintelligence thanks for reporting this issue. The first that I see in the Terminal Output file is that you failed to clone the Wasabi repository:

$ git clone https://github.com/zkSNACKs/WalletWasabi.git --recursive
fatal: destination path 'WalletWasabi' already exists and is not an empty directory.

Could you remove the WasabiWallet directory/folder and try again, please? Let us know if this problem still persist after that.

@danwalmsley I think this could be a problem caused by broken cloned repo.The procedure follow by @webintelligence shows problems. Here is the latest one (Dock project was not updated correctly)

$ git submodule update --init --recursive
warning: unable to rmdir 'Dock': Directory not empty

IMO the best is remove the Wasabi directory and do a clean clone and build Wasabi.

After @webintelligence or @molnard tests this we'll do an emergency release.
