Indication of direction above the map confusing #3

When navigating, there is a banner above the map which displays the future direction. What I noticed in the newer version that the behaviour has changed.
I would expect that when driving on the freeway, the arrow should either:

  • not be displayed if the next exit to take is more than 10 km ahead, and otherwise displayed with a distance on when to take it
  • be displayed as straight forward when describing an upcoming which should not be taken

What happens however is that the arrow points left when straight forward should be indicated. This is a bit confusing.

What also could help is a Google Maps style set of arrows indicating the layout of the lanes, instead of a single arrow.

I will try to provide one.

The Google Maps style set of arrows is something that I found to be available in the paid version, so that part of this issue no longer counts.
