As far as I (quickly) understand the Chrome patch is does the following:
This second post is what triggers the 405 Method Not Allowed.
When we let the controller_logon handle (and discard) posts this will not happen.
The controller_logon can answer with a 204 No Content.

I suspect this will work just fine, as the 405 error is what stops Safari in its tracks.
That is from the invisible iframe isn't it? If so, then this will work with mobile browsers too.
204 No Content to a mobile browser will give you a blank page.
Yes, it is a post to an iframe.
So I hope the 204 won't mess up the current document.
Needs some testing though....
