I was following the installation instructions using the current source at github. I ran "bin/zotonic addsite -s blog mysite" and I got the following error:
File "<string>", line 1
import os,sys;print os.path.realpath("bin/zotonic/../..")
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Command not found: addsite
I have Python 3.2.2 on Arch Linux.
I edited the bin/zotonic script to use the non-python fall-back and it works fine.
Saem annoying error. I propose to replace python call with something like $(readlink -f $0)
$(readlink -f $0)
Readlink is not available on all platforms I think.
I'll make the call python 3.x compatible.
Yes I recall now, on BSD and mac readlink -f does not work like it does on linux.
Make bin/zotonic compatible with python 3.x
