I find it strange that to_json comes first when sorting by title.

See screenshot.

Also missing at least one page entirely from the list (when filtered by category Filters): pprint (not in the screenshot).

I'll look into it if I get some spare time...

Hmm. or perhaps this is only due to some issue with pivoting on zotonic.com... I'll notify Arjan.

Where are the other filters? Was zotonic renumbering the category tree at the moment the page was rendered? That can lead to strange, temporary, rendering of your pages.

I don't think zotonic was renumbering at the time. And it was like that for more than a few minutes...

However, it is showing it correct now, so either Arjan has given it a kick in the butt, or it was some other transient malfunction... (or it could be that updating the rsc fixed it, since I was in there fiddling about)

I'l close this as one of those things that may happen; no real harm done.

Looks like rebuilding of the category tree to me.

Renumbering can take a while. It depends on the number of resources. Our live server can be busy with this for almost an hour. During renumbering zotonic believes our users are blog articles and they are published. After renumbering everything is fine again.

Marc has suggested we should add gaps between the categories allowing one to add new categories without too much hassle.

Woa... that doesn't sound good. At all. If rsc's are miss-categorized during renumbering... doesn't things get weird? That can't be acceptable.

Yes, it is totally weird and not acceptable. Especially if the database contains a lot of resources. Then renumbering will take quite some time.

It happens only after we add new categories though, so we have to plan our upgrades. But eventually this needs to be fixed sooner or later.
