i cannt use § in chat message,but certain circumstances i must use §

Can you elaborate more on this one. And I need your server version to have better idea of your situation, best option would be to give feedback from /cmi version command.
§ is extremely outdated format used for colors which was always wonky when it comes to chat messages in general

if i use § or some papi has § inside it will change it to & but sometimes i need § to make sure some founction go on
my server version: 1.12.2 paper
