that is indeed strange. I do this regularly and have never experienced this issue. I see you are using sliding panes. I'll try to test if it is to do with that...? Can you try turning sliding panes off? |

Hi
Yesterday evening I started to watch your videos and had the impression all
was well with 1.4.12. However at a certain moment I noticed that the
version was 1.4.13, all was still well until I finished my drawing and
tried to transclude. Since then the problems exists. So I do not know if it
is related to the version.
If I open Obsidian and open a drawing, the duplication (multiple) starts.
Killing can only be done by deleting the document (drawing) or closing
Obsidian.
I disabled the sliding pane plugin, no difference. The error did re-occur
:-(
Is the 1.4.12 version available on Github ? I can try if this helps

Is this something new, i.e. you did not experience this issue with 1.4.12?

I don't yet even have a clue where to look... Here's 1.4.12 I also tried sliding panes, but it did not cause any issues. I think we can rule that out. |

If you open the developer console, do you see any errors? CTRL+SHIFT+i
If you press pause in the developer console, where does it stop?
What are you transcluding?

Same error with 1.4.12

so, my next attempt would be to turn off all plugins and only leave Excalidraw. Does the error still happen? "Does this log help?" You did not attach a log. |

If not, then you can start turning plugins on, one by one.

I did disable all plug-ins and retried, the problem seems to be gone.
Thereafter I enable one by one the plu-ins again and found one suspicious plug-in which seems to be the cause of this behaviour.
This is the autosplit plugin.Without the plugin did the tool behave as expected.
However I still looking into this because I got an error message (see yellow error message in attachment) which relates to not able to find the path and seems not always to be related to the same plugin.
Attached you find a screenshot of error messages I got when Excalidraw was multiplying and one screenshot with the yellow warning which looks to be related (but that is not yet clear to me).
Anyhow, sorry for the confusion and thanks for your reactions.
I will pose a question on the Obsidian forum, later this evening. Maybe more people have the same experience with influencing-apps.

Describe the bug😦 It looks that it continues until my memory is filled (which is a little hard because my MBP has unified memory…😉 ). Nevertheless this makes the use of Excalidraw rather difficult to be effective. During opening of these windows I get sometimes the message : " Error loading drawing : cannot read property “path” of null. Try manual fixing or sync…"
I have a strange problem. After creating a drawing with the Excalidraw plugin, closing Obsidian and re-opening it. Obsidian starts to open multiple windows of this drawing each in a different pane
