Rack::ImageSilencer

This gem prevents images hitting Rails.

Why bother? When developing, sometimes it's handy to import production data without images (especially if there are lots of them hosted on S3). If you view a page containing 100 comments, most of the logs will be errors about missing avatars.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'rack-image_silencer', :group => :development

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install rack-image_silencer

Usage

Including it in your Gemfile automatically loads it as rack middleware into your Rails app.
