5. Network Target

You can use Network Storages as download destination. This way you won't have to worry again for limited disk space of Flash storages. You can directly download on Home Network storages (NAS), Samba(Windows) File Sharing servers or basically any type of storage that can be mounted on filesystem.

To use this feature, you have to define mounting details of the network storage in /etc/fstab file. Assuming you mounted the storage on /media/NetworkStorage, edit configuration.sh like this:

DOWNLOAD_DIR_NFS="/media/NetworkStorage"

System will periodically check for it's availability. If it ever gets disconnected, all download tasks will be paused and the script will try to reconnect it. Dowloads will be resumed again right after establishing the connection.

Notes

  • It's different from Network Sync feature.
