Original labels: Type-Defect, Priority-Medium

Original description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check featured image size (in my case: 648x250)
2. Select featured image narrower than the target size (eg. 479x286)
3. Check the main page. The newly uploaded featured image will be resized to 479x250 and stretched to 648x250 when displaying.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-The image should be resized to 648x250 (enlaged to fit width + cropping height - keeping aspect ratio)

What versions of WordPress and Arras Theme are you using?
WP: 3.0.1-3.0.3

Please include the link to your installation.
