Great idea. I've done something in my sublime-text-2-local-sdoc project, with a script called generate_sdoc

I'm tempted to add it to sdoc. However, when generating documentation for many projects containing hundreds of shared gems, it's better to have a way to share and cache the documentation generated for each gem. My approach handles that, and I don't think there's a good way to add that functionality to sdoc.
