User Guide: Transfer Save Files
Note: "Save Files" in this guide refers to in-game battery/SRAM saves or memory card saves and NOT Save States.

First open the game with the mGBA core plugin so that all necessary folders are created.
While running the game, click the cog wheel icon on the HUD bar, choose Core > mGBA. -
Navigate to the folder
~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/VisualBoyAdvance/Battery Saves
(~ meaning your Home folder where ~ is your username. See the guide here if you don't know this). -
Copy the <ROM name>.sav2 save file to the folder
~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/mGBA/Battery Saves

Right click on the copied <ROM name>.sav2 in the
.../mGBA/Battery Saves
folder and select Get Info. From the "Name & Extension" section, rename the file extension from.sav2
to.sav
, resulting in <ROM name>.sav -
Launch OpenEmu, go to the Library sidebar, right click on "Game Boy Advance" > Default Core, and select mGBA -
Go to OpenEmu > Preferences > Library, click "Reset warnings"

Open your game and click "No" if prompted to "Continue where you left off"

First open the game with the BSNES core plugin so that all necessary folders are created. While running the game, click the cog wheel icon on the HUD bar, choose Core > BSNES.

Navigate to the folder
~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/SNES9x/Battery Saves
(~ meaning your Home folder where ~ is your username. See the guide here if you don't know this). -
Copy the <ROM name>.sav save file to the folder
~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/BSNES/Battery Saves

Right click on the copied <ROM name>.sav in the
.../BSNES/Battery Saves
folder and select Get Info. From the "Name & Extension" section, rename the file extension from.sav
to.srm
, resulting in <ROM name>.srm -
Launch OpenEmu, go to the Library sidebar, right click on "Super Nintendo" > Default Core, and select BSNES

Go to OpenEmu > Preferences > Library, click "Reset warnings"

Open your game and click "No" if prompted to "Continue where you left off"

Connect the PSP to your Mac via USB and browse to
PSP/SAVEDATA
in Finder. -
Each save file is present in a folder with a unique name. In order to find your specific games, you may want to browse the individual folders and look at the icons (.png and .ico files). These files may also include replay data. Copy the folders you want.

Navigate to the folder
~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/PPSSPP/PSP/SAVEDATA/
(~ meaning your Home folder where ~ is your username. See the guide here if you don't know this). Paste the folders here. -
Launch OpenEmu, go to OpenEmu > Preferences > Library, click "Reset warnings"

Open your game and click "No" if prompted to "Continue where you left off"
