I was just using it on my chromebook, then it restarted on me and sidequest is broken. I have read that this issue is across all chromebooks and it does suck because my tablet doesn't want to connect to my quest. I don't know what google did but it might be fixable. The error is weird too. I haven't tried using wine yet but if it works, then there's a hopefully temporary fix.

I solved the issue for myself, it was linux not being properly closed, but it's an issue for others, so until this gets fixed for everyone, this can stay open to inform people of wine which might work. I think the linux version works for me because I'm on the dev version channel. I don't recommend going to the dev version channel and instead try the windows version with wine.

I connected my quest with the charger that came with it. you need to activate ADB debugging on linux first, then connect it to linux when it appears in your notifications. It should work then.

Forgot to metion that SideQuest must be running before connecting.
