So since I've started building my own FPV quad, I use the props out configuration because it's said to be better in performance. But me and many other players have found that props spinning out in a cinewhoop actually intensifies its shaking and washout.
The detailed problem is demonstrated in this video by UAV tech https://youtu.be/7GweG0RnCfc?si=vxTGJ8Thld3d4L5s
I'm wondering why props out is having a sick performance on cinewhoops. It seems like the i term of the yaw axis is accumulating errors and the motors are trying to fix a deviation that doesn't exist? So is it an aerodynamic problem or a problem of the PID control system? And also I'm curious about whether there's really a difference in the working logic of the quad between props in and props out configuration?
