This module only contains some of the Silent Hill 2 enhancements. For all of the features of Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition see the full Installation Guide.

  1. Download the d3d8.zip file and unzip it to your Silent Hill 2 folder.
  2. Download the SH2EEconfig.zip file.
  3. Download and install other Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition packages, see the full Installation Guide.
  4. Extract and run the SH2EEconfig.exe tool and configure any settings.
  5. Click the Save & Launch Game button to start the game.

What's New?

  • Add logging to memory functions to make troubleshooting easier
  • Fix the crash when using module for v1.1 or vDC
  • Fix for result screen skipping when user presses ESC in 60 FPS
  • Fix "double" footstep sounds for player characters in 60 FPS
  • Fix an issue where when you delete the quick save then try to load it you can no longer exit the game
  • Fix "Game Save" location for ultrawide screens
  • Fix Left-right mouse movement isn't working while on the pause screen for the DC version
  • Update the fix for the wrong BGM playing in menus
  • Update the fix for Quick Save text fading too quickly
