Hi,

I played around with the VS Ugrade Assistant and it was pretty easy to build Greenshot and start with .NET 8.
You can find my changes here: draft/dotnet8_playground

I had to comment out a few lines of code and deactivate the Jira and Confluence plugin, but this is just a test.

So I would like to initiate a discussion.

What is the future of Greenshot?

There is a develop branch, but the last commit was 3 years ago. Is this still active and the desired direction?
If so, what are the next steps? Where can i help?
And if not, what happens to the large amount of work from this branch?

I'm pretty sure there are developers like me who want to contribute to the project but don't know where to start.

Can the maintainers @Lakritzator @jklingen of the project present they big picture and ideas to Greehshot 2.0 ❓
I only found this form 3 years ago. greenshot_blog_state2020.md
I know, writing down a roadmap is a huge amount of work, but without you can't go forward.
Creating small subtasks would also help. Even if these are not complete features.
Little steps are also steps. 🚀🌘
