Thanks a lot for your work on this. It would be really useful if there was a version of the tree using the taxonomy and species names of WCVP (World Checklist of Vascular Plants, Govaerts et al. 2022).

Thanks for the information, we realized that we didn't provide a megatree based on POWO in V.PhyloMaker2. We can generate a megatree based on WCVP sometime next month (if not sooner).

We have uploaded the megatree to https://github.com/megatrees/plant_20221214/blob/main/GBOTB.extended.WCVP.tre

We changed the plan to include this megatree in a soon to be published package, namely U.PhyloMaker. Please check if it is the megatree you want.
