Cannot create key with kloudctl

I'm not able to create a key with kloudctl as described in: /blob/master/README.lp.markdown:
kloudctl kontrol key -u <user> -o kite.key
It stops with an error, saying it would need kite.key to generate kite.key

I'm calling the command from inside the koding Docker container that is created by https://github.com/koding/docker-compose repo's docker-compose setup

Expected Behavior

It generates kite.key

Current Behavior

It crashes saying, it would need kite.key

Possible Solution
