Error building source_packages #358

When I run:

make source_packages

I get the error:

/bin/sh: 1: [[: not found

The overall script still continues to run and do configurations, but ultimately still fails with:

Makefile:26: recipe for target 'source_packages' failed

Other than docs/release_readme.txt, is there any documentation for building, specifically on Ubuntu? I'm unable to build this on Ubuntu 18.04.
