Gyroscope/Tilt motions not working

I've been trying to play Kirby Triple Deluxe but stumbled into a stage that requires tilting the 3ds, I tried doing that with my phone and it didn't work, i've also tried looking online and nothing could answer my problem, even checking the settings nothing mentions gyro controls, is it even implemented? I would really love an answer since I can't access the community site
