Hi there 👋

About Me

Hi, I'm Aldrete—your friendly neighborhood Software Engineer, AI Engineer, part-time Janitor, full-time Vim Enjoyer, and occasional "Let's see what happens if I push to prod on a Friday" enthusiast. I build things, break things, and sometimes even fix things (usually in that order). Currently debugging my life with the same energy I debug my code: lots of coffee, minimal sleep, and an unhealthy relationship with Stack Overflow.

🚀 Top Skills & Technologies

  • Python (because whitespace is my love language, and semicolons are overrated)
  • Pandas & Scikit-Learn (making data do tricks since forever—like a digital circus, but with more NaNs)
  • DSPy (not just a typo, I swear—it's a real thing, Google it!)
  • Docker (I put things in containers, but not my feelings—those stay in /dev/null)
  • React, TypeScript, Go (for when I want to feel pain in different programming languages)
  • PostgreSQL (because I like my databases relational and my debugging sessions eternal)
  • Git (master of merge conflicts and "works on my machine" syndrome)

🎯 Projects I Actually Brag About

🤖 Chatbot App

Multiple personas, customizable workflows, and the ability to pretend I have friends on demand.

Features include:

  • Conversations more engaging than my actual social life
  • AI that's smarter than me (not a high bar, but still impressive)
  • Bugs that are definitely "features in disguise"

🕵️ Agent Microservice

Deployable, customizable, and always ready to take over... sorry, help wherever I need an AI agent. Just don't ask it about its feelings—it's still working through some Docker container issues.

More projects coming soon™ (translation: when I stop procrastinating and actually finish them)

🎭 Personality

Proactive, curious, creative, and always ready to automate myself out of a job. Obsessed with open source because sharing is caring (and also because I want free code reviews from strangers on the internet). I'm the kind of person who:

  • Comments code like I'm writing poetry for future developers
  • Has strong opinions about tabs vs spaces (it's spaces, fight me)
  • Believes that any problem can be solved with enough duct tape and regex
  • Treats production like a suggestion, not a rule

🎯 Mission

Adding value (and sometimes confusion) to developers' lives and the world at large, one sarcastic commit message at a time. Currently working on making AI so good that it can explain why my code works even when I don't. "Making the world a better place, one bug at a time" — probably me, during a 2 AM debugging session

📫 Contact

Email: aldretelearns@gmail.com (for fan mail, bug reports, or existential questions about why my code works) LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/aldrete (please endorse my "Taking Down Production" and "Turning Coffee into Code" skills)

Warning: I respond to emails faster than I fix bugs, which isn't saying much

🎨 Hobbies

Exercise (mostly running away from my problems) Sleep (when the code finally compiles) Eat (stress-eating while waiting for CI/CD to pass) Plotting to dominate the universe (or at least get my code to compile on the first try) Reading AI research papers (and pretending I understand 100% of them) Digital art (because sometimes you need to create beauty after staring at ugly code all day)

Current Status: Caffeinated ☕ | Debugging 🐛 | Existential Crisis Level: Medium 📈

"Code is like humor. When you have to explain it, it's bad." — Cory House "My code works, I have no idea why." — Me, every single day

🎪 Disclaimer No production environments were harmed in the making of this README. Any resemblance to actual working code is purely coincidental. Side effects may include increased productivity, spontaneous laughter, and an inexplicable urge to refactor everything.

A great code analysis for VSCode. It is open source and looks to solve the main pain points of VsCode and its extensions for code analysis.
