It would be nice to be able to install the package from Go's central repository

This will benefit users who don't want to install via Docker or build from source

I'm not really sure what you're asking for here, sorry. As far as I'm concerned, pkg.go.dev is just a web page over the module proxy. The proxy will cache modules when people run go get or go install but both end up building from source. What am I missing?
