Failed to launch debuggee in integratedTerminal. Reason: com.sun.jdi.connect.TransportTimeoutException

I've been trying to run the Java debugger in my windows machine using WSL but have never been able to using the integratedTerminal. Is this something that's expected? Am I only able to use internalConsole?

It works for me to run with integrated terminal in WSL. Looks like it uses wrong rule & to concate the command lines in terminal. Did you try the latest VS Code version?

I tried updating my vs code version & am now on 1.76.2 but am still seeing the same error.
