logging in to microsoft resources does not work

Does this occur consistently? <! yes>
Repro steps:

1. log in with 'sign in to azure' with right credentials
2. get no error
3. it keeps saying 'sign in to azure'
4. but on in the tab accounts it says im signed in to microsoft
   i tried:

• reinstalling all extentions
• logging out

what seems to help is use classic microsoft log in, in stead of msal

Hi, try this fix that was suggested in this VS Code thread: microsoft/vscode#240307 (comment)

• Delete the directory: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\IdentityCache
• Try signing in with msal again
