Visionary Pi is an open-source digital signage solution designed to run on a Raspberry Pi. This software lets you turn any TV into a powerful, customizable digital signage system, perfect for displaying announcements, schedules, ads, and other media in a kiosk mode. Visionary Pi is optimized for ease of use, allowing users to control content from a simple interface with minimal configuration.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  1. Raspberry Pi with a Desktop OS installed.
  2. Internet Access (optional but recommended).
  3. HDMI-compatible Display (e.g., TV or monitor).
  4. Power Supply for Raspberry Pi.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your Raspberry Pi:
    git clone https://github.com/codejamboree/visionary-pi.git
    cd visionary-pi

Usage

Upload Media: Log in to the dashboard and upload images, videos, or HTML content for display. Create a Playlist: Organize uploaded content into playlists and assign them to displays. Schedule Content: Set specific times for each playlist or media to appear. Monitor and Manage: Use the dashboard to check the status of each connected display.
