Create multiple collections

Is there a way to generate a new collection on top of an existing collection and avoid duplicates?

E.g. You generate collection 1, then generate collection 2 without having duplicates from 1.

@kingchenc short answer: no

But you could create one big collection and manually split it.

Or you could

1. use my fork
2. copy the build/json/_metadata.json file over from the first collection
3. generate
4. manually delete the editions from the new _metadata.json

That way you won't be able to have editions with the same number in two different collections.

It also only really works for 2 collections, any more and you'd have to append all of the collections together.
