How to Downgrade the Terminal Application?

In version v1.23.10732.0, I encountered a particularly troublesome bug, as detailed in issue #18717. Given that this bug may not be resolved in the near future, I am interested in downgrading the terminal to a previous version that does not exhibit this issue. Could someone provide guidance on how to perform this downgrade?

Well, so, if you are using 1.23.10731 you are on our preview channel. You can just launch the non-preview version of Terminal in the interim. This message seems to indicate that it is already installed at the version you would like to use.

@DHowett I'm currently using the preview version of Windows Terminal, and I’d like to know how I can downgrade it to the stable version. When I try installing the stable version, I get an error saying, “There was an error parsing the app package.” And when I attempt to install it using the “Add-AppxPackage” command, I run into another issue: “Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073CF6, Package could not be registered.” Can you tell me how to successfully downgrade from the preview version to the stable version of Windows Terminal?

Preview and Stable are separate packages, which can both be installed at the same time. You do not need to downgrade anything to run Stable, because it is installed at the same time as Preview.

Can you share the output from Get-AppxPackage *Terminal*?
