Nash and Patel's paper reviews the literature about instrumental variables in the national cultural values literature, offering a discussion about each instrumental variable and its application. You can read the paper here or here.
I organized this repository to facilitate access to datasets used to create the instrumental variables discussed by Nash and Patel (2019) and also avoid that these datasets become unavailable. Each dataset has a link to the original study. Nash and Patel's table 9 reports how each institutional variable maps into cultural values and what studies have applied them.
