Welcome to our project's Wiki Page! We are Group 2 from 2025 and we are working on an application which connects fitness enthusiasts on a platform in which they can join different activities and share their experiences with each other.

Project Overview

Our goal is to develop a software for the users and allow them to be physically active more. Main features of our platform are:

• A forum for the people to share their questions and stories. This will allow users to increase their knowledge and motivation.
• Allowing users to create custom challenges to race on. People can join challenges created by the community and find some place for themselves on the leaderboards.
• Providing the users an environment to set fitness goals for themselves and get in touch with coaches to help them with their progress. Progressing on goals will reward the users with in app items.
• Finding all kinds of sports programs close to their desired location and targets.

Communication plan

Until Week 9, our group meetings were held every Thursday night online via Google Meet. Starting from Week 9, we decided to move the weekly meetings to Saturday nights to give teams more time to implement weekly features and discuss the progress of that week.

Team meetings are typically held immediately after the group meetings to ensure that every team member is assigned a task for the upcoming week. Additional meetings can be arranged as needed to address specific issues or requirements.

For faster and more efficient communication, we use WhatsApp groups—one for the overall group and one for each of the three teams (four in total).
