I am using my README.mds as the description for all of my projects and I have alerts for important things but Modrinth renders them as normal quotes

This would have to be solved through markdown-it plugins, as the core library does not add non-CM? syntax, see markdown-it/markdown-it#982 where alerts was specifically inquired about.

A potential plugin for this could be: https://github.com/mdit-plugins/mdit-plugins/tree/main/packages/alert - however I'm not sure on the stance of adding various plugins to a 3rd-party lib for additional rendering capabilities.
