[Problem/Bug]: WebView2CompositionControl ArgumentException: The parameter is incorrect on hiding and showing a WebView2 hosted in a Visual Studio tool window

What happened?

If you hide the "WebView2 Focus Issue" tool window using the pin button and then click to show it again, an exception will be raised which will crash Visual Studio

Repro steps

1. Git clone https://github.com/segevfiner/Webview2FocusIssueVSIX
2. Open the solution, and run it (F5).
3. Click View -> Other Windows -> WebView2 Focus Issue
4. Click the pin button ("Auto Hide") on the opened tool window.
5. Click the hidden tool window tab.
6. Visual Studio will crash with the described exception.

It seems that your issue contains the word "crash". If you have not already, could you attach a crash dump as a comment?

WV2 crash dumps are located in a subfolder of the app's user data folder (UDF): <UDF>\EBWebView\Crashpad\reports\. By default, the user data folder is created in the app's folder with a name like <App Exe Name>.exe.WebView2. Refer to Crash Diagnostics for more information.

Doesn't produce a native crash dump, an uncaught exception at the SDK side I think.

I have encountered the same issue. You can easily reproduce it by:

1. Creating a minimal application with XAML: <wv2:WebView2CompositionControl Source="https://www.microsoft.com"/>
2. Run the app
3. Resize the window so the web view control height becomes zero

I have found that adding MinHeight="1" to the control prevents the exception from being thrown.
