We need to do some analysis of WAN (HTTP) and DC (XDP) perf scenarios to identify what the current bottlenecks are, and if any are trivial to eliminate, do so.

After about one and half month of targeted improvements, we have implemented couple of changes that have resulted in throughput improvement of about 5%. We have verified the changes through internal testing. We will continue to monitor performance in production, but for now, we consider this task complete and are closing it.
