VS Code is performing slow because of Chromium Technology

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: I don't think so extensions are making actual lag.

• VS Code Version: 1.101.0
• OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  OS: Linux x64 6.8.0-60-generic

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Just open the editor bro.

I am experiencing some lag while using VSCode. I think it is only due to Chromium technology. Chromium makes it slow. I have a suggestion that developers should use webkit2gtk for rendering vscode in linux.
They should give it at least a try.
Maybe this will make a huge performance boost on linux systems.

Can you expand on what action in the editor is slow, is it the startup or input actions ? Depending on the area the captured profiles would be different, so additional context would be helpful. You can also share a recording to demonstrate the issue.

@deepak1556 I actually use firefox with Visual Studio Code for watching tutorial videos.
And it lags a lot. Slowing down the entire system.
I have an idea that I can use

code serve-web

To serve a web interface. And then use webkit2gtk with C++ to make a WebView rendering vscode.

Now the problem I am facing is it doesn't import my extensions. Can you give me an argument which I can pass with code serve-web to make my already downloaded extensions work.
I want to use my vscode profile in web version.
